Our weekend loaded with grace, love and celebration!

Good Friday - Kendall turned ONE - EASTER!
Our weekend was loaded with grace, appreciation, sacrifice, love and celebration!

Good Friday: HE DIED FOR ME

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

Good Friday, is the day we commemorated Jesus' death on the cross. This year to teach Mason that Easter / Good Friday is not about the bunny but IS about the sacrifice on the cross my children and I put a visual reminder on our palms for the day.

Jesus died for us and YOU!

I am kind of at a loss for words... How did a year go by already? How can it be that this sweet little thing below is now a ONE YEAR OLD?

It feels like yesterday that we were taking her home from the hospital...

Fast forward a year and Kendall is into EVERYTHING!
She walks, talks, has a STRONG opinion (where does she get that?), is a Daddies girl, loves her brother and even at one shows so much compassion for others! We are so blessed to call her ours!

So now it begins. Thank you to Auntie Lyanne; Kendall is in love with her first baby girl (named Dolly - by Mason).
I knew shopping for dolls would be in my future just not so early!

You can always count on my Auntie to get the party started

He has risen!

JESUS is Easter... but they are only little once so we like to keep the magic alive!

Me and Grandpa. I am so blessed to be apart of the family he helped to create!

Next stop Greg's Parents house!

Beautiful day for a bike ride.
Also the coolest bike in town!

 Daddies girl!

I think this is my favorite photo from Easter. Kendall Grace praying!
My heart is overwhelmed with joy that my children are growing up and choosing to LOVE JESUS!

To end our eventful weekend we laced up Daddies fireman shoes... Mason was in heaven!

Loaded Diaper?!?!?

Today's post title comes to you from the one and only Greg Garka... Thanks for the idea babe!

As far as Mason is concernced today was another good day for our little man!
We made our goal and got up and went on a total of three walks. The last walk of the night he spotted the “playroom” and was interested so we stopped and visited with our neighbors while he played. It was the highlight of the day.

His appetite decreased today but that is to be expected since he hadn’t yet had a bowel movement (in 6 days)– however about 60 minutes ago things changed in that department and I am happy to report his bowels are working and back in action…

During his echo he was again a crowd pleaser and was on his best behavior. The technician said that he was the best 3 year old she has done. It is so funny; he gets upset when something is about to happen and he doesn’t understand what. He tells us he is scared and then after we explain to him what they are going to do and that it won’t hurt – he is…
